In this article, we will provide tips that hopefully will help to solve the problem you are encountering when trying to connect a Business Facebook page in our platform
By far, the most common problem, is that the person trying to connect the page does not have sufficient authorization - correct level of permission.
The level of permission is assigned/edited in Facebook Business Manager (or in the page settings by admin/owner of the page if there is no Business Manager). It can only be done by someone who has the administrator role (Facebook guide here for more information).

1. Check that you have the right permission level for connecting the page, (Facebook guide on how to see your own permission level for a page).
- Permission level for Legacy Page: Admin with Manage Access (Facebook guide here)
- Permission level for New Experience Page: Admin with Facebook access (Facebook guide here)
2. Remove the Adfenix account that is currently connected to your page.
NOTE: This action requires the highest level of permission, “Page Administrator” (Facebook guide here)
Steps to remove Adfenix from legacy pages
- Go to the page profile
- Go to Settings (left sidebar)
- Go to Page roles
- Under the Agency section, remove Adfenix (if it exists)
- Go back to Realforce platform and re-try to connect the page
Steps for removing Adfenix app from Facebook account
- Go to your Facebook account profile
- Click on your profile picture (top right corner)
- Click on Settings & Privacy
- Click on Settings
- Click on Security and login
- Go to Business integrations and remove Adfenix (if it exists)
- Go back to Adfenix platform and re-try to connect the page
Steps to remove Adfenix from New Experience Pages
- Switch to your page profile
- Click on the profile image on top right corner
- Click on Settings & privacy
- Click on Settings
- Click on New page experience
- Go to Page access and remove Adfenix (if it exists)
(If the remove option isn't available, it means that you do not have enough permission for the action, and this must be done in the Business Manager under the partners section of the page. Contact the person who have Business Manager access).
-
Remove Adfenix from Business Manager under the partners section
- Go back to Adfenix platform and re-try to connect the page
If none of the above suggestions have helped, and you still do not succeed in connecting the office's Facebook page in the platform, you need to contact the person who has full administrator rights in your Business Manager.
That person can then send us a Partner Invitation which we accept and then ensure that your Facebook page is connected.
